Problem-based Collaborative Learning Strategy in Computer Programming

Computer programming is the basic skill that has to be possessed by students who attend Algorithm and Programming courses. This requires a problem solving strategy involves large number of logic activities. The purpose this study offer collaborative learning environment in order provide experience interacting socially. However, social interaction does not just happen; appropriate guiding strategies are needed support learning. proposed problem-based practice strategy. research was conducted on second semester Informatics Engineering Study Program, Faculty Science, Pelita Indonesia. Two classes were used for testing, namely control class with 16 experimental 15 students. taught conventional using strategies. results show can useful improving computer skills approach.
